The road to stardom both in local and international entertainment industry for Charice Pempengco, a Filipino singer becomes even much brighter these past years in which her success has been paved away by mostly powerful international figures. Born in Laguna, she was raised by her mother alone and her eyes were already opened from poverty. She joined in different vocal competition that started from every Barangay festival singing contest just to help her mother to earn something for a living. Born with a golden voice, there she got her mother as her one and only mentor and supporter to improve and to back her up in her singing career. And all the hardship to reach the stardom pays off and it is more than they even wished for.
The breaks seem to come from the most unexpected places for Charice when she was given the chance to have her first ever Hollywood movie. She is now about to face the field of acting, though, singing remains her ultimate priority. She deserved to pass the audition on the Alvin and the Chipmunks Part 2: The Squeakquel. She would act as one of the contestant in High School Musical contest in rivalry with the chipmunks, and her role was specially created after passing the audition. She started her first shooting about one or two weeks ago along with her other appointments, interviews and other stuff that would make her fully booked in her busy schedules. This movie will surely be a big hit worldwide where everyone is going to wait for her first Hollywood movie appearance which she truly deserves.
