The Reasons to Blog

It is my personal desire to express thoughts, to share and to talk. I like to listen and read from other views in all walks and all forms of life and so I like to blog what catches my thoughts and imaginations, which are mostly rooted, in various forms of human emotion and ways of thinking.

Scrapbooks and some personal diaries, that’s where all it started and that’s what I used to have from the old days to keep memories and it feels so good that from time to time I can go back and reminisce what happened in every bit of my little own story, which I make every now and then. But with our modern way of thinking and innovative ways of expressing human experiences, comes an online diary, the ultimate blogging experience where anyone can freely share and talk.

Nothing is permanent, and from all the different laws of life, it simply tells us the basic human reason, that life is a matter of choices. Through the different decisions we make, we make differences; and life, itself is a constant change where every life’s situation is unique in its ways and it is what every individual have been through from here and then… and so as how unique everyone thinks and feels about towards each situation. With all that, blogging becomes my real interests, my extreme passion, for me to create combined words and phrases that would help me remember every single and unique event and story in my own life’s experiences.

To take a closer look of who am I and how I have become from all the faces of life’s escapes, I am but an ordinary and perhaps an amateur blogger who finds more and more reasons to do all things with love where every little thing is greatly appreciated and I find blogging as one of my ultimate ways to freely share and express myself.

I am a nurse, and like everyone else, I walk with my calling and I do it with passion. Nursing has opened new ways for me to explore and to understand all the forms and laws of human life and it has changed me to a better person.

I was able to work in a different industry prior to practicing my profession, was a call centre agent and worked as a Client Business Analyst, Client Care for Mobility inbound account in Telus International, Philippines Inc. which is formerly known as Ambergris Solutions, for seven months. From that short span of time, I have discovered another gateway to human experiences, in which, my exposure to new set of individuals, new set of ideas and ways of work were really far more than what I have ever imagined. It made me appreciate man’s modern way of life and it is the used of the different technologies created by human innovative minds.

After my exposure in call centre industry, I decided to go back and apply what I have learned in my nursing profession. I was able to work in a tertiary and private hospital in my hometown in Quezon Province, Lucena City, in Mt. Carmel Diocesan General Hospital, a catholic institution, in which, I was fortunate to be given the chance to serve and express what I really want. I was assigned in a very complicated and haggard special area, the Emergency Room. Here, I learned how to live a life of a nurse in a fast changing environment where every minute and every second counts; where anything can happen. Here, I have seen different human emotions where tenderness, love and care always filled the air and it is our compassion to our neighbour, our willingness and sensitivity to serve and to offer self to other people which in return become our response to our own Christian formation.

In search for a greener pasture, I left and for some various reasons, and now I am on my way to another nursing escapade. This time, it will be a lot more different and much more difficult exposure where transcultural nursing will surely arise…
